WIA OPEN CALL for Three Colours: Red/Home: Fraternité: Blood

What is ‘Home’? What defines it? Shelter, fraternity, blood…bricks?

Continuing our take on Kielowski’s Three Colours series, Red/ Home: Fraternité: Blood, the third and final in our Trilogy Blue:White:Red explores the notion of home.

Taking our cue from Kieslowski’s Three Colours Trilogy which examines the French Revolutionary ideals of Liberté, Egalité, Fraternité, over the last few months we have appropriated these terms to consider architecture in relation to women.

In ‘Red’ we consider home, traditionally the location of family and centre of the domestic, we are interested in both celebrating and challenging traditional ideas around these themes.

We are seeking films that consider home, in all it’s forms and diversities; the absence of home and everything it contains; domesticity and the domestic.

Please submit your film by emaiing hello@wia-uk.org, marking your email FAO Sarah Akigbogun.

The deadline for submissions is November 14th
