Three Colours: Blue/ Liberté: How do Women Experience External Spaces?

  • Herman Miller 61 Aldwych London, England, WC2B 4AE United Kingdom (map)

This event explores what we need from exterior spaces and what we enjoy about these spaces

Women in Architecture are presenting a series of three events: Three Colours: Blue White Red. The first event Blue in June is in collaboration with the London Festival of Architecture, the RIBA and Herman Miller and deals with external spaces. We explore the creation and reaction to spaces and their intellectual and physical significance.

We start with a screening of a range of short films about women and public spaces followed by speakers and an opportunity to socialise and network with drinks.

The talks and films will cover 'people in the city', 'teenage girls, children, public spaces', 'communities, belonging and mental health', 'multi-sensory design', 'trends in urban space appropriation'. Speakers are to be announced soon.
